This is Utopia, this is my Utopia,
This is my ideal, my end in sight;

Utopia marries my passion for photography and love of the coast. It is an on-going project, an endeavour to distil the spirit and essence of the West Australian coastal lifestyle into a series of images that constructs a narrative of people and place, time and space, telling the story of a coastal dwellers and the landscape which has formed their character, and to which they have re-formed to create their ideal lifestyle, their "Utopia".

At times romantic, at times humorous, at times cynical, Utopia is a tapestry that both looks to the idyllic past and casts its eyes into the future in the way we work and re-work our identities as coast dwellers.
