About the Snap'shooter

I have always been photographing, evolving from film into digital photography and photo media. My photography lies in the spaces that mediate between reportage and art photography – I love both and my pictures show the results of their intersection.

My aim is to create images that offer both commentary and powerful visuals, one through the other. I don’t believe in distances. I believe in connecting with my photographic participants. I don’t believe in style over substance. I believe in photographs that make us re-imagine our ways of seeing and being.

  From Pixel to Print is an exhibition which showcases the work of six Perth photographers in an interactive manner, challenging viewers to make the experience of viewing photographs one of active interaction instead of passive reception. The images on exhibition cover a range of subject matter: street photography, portraiture, landscapes and abstracts.
